You’re now comparing Russell Shepherd at QB to Gilbert at TE?

No I’m just responding to the point about him being the highest rated TE we’ve ever had

He’s not just the highest rated TE LSU has ever had, he’s literally the highest rated TE recruit in the history of 24/7.

And you want to move him to DE immediately.

TJ Hockenson went 8th overall and ran a 4.7

Brandon Pettigrew went 20th and ran a 4.8.

Also when you look at 1st round DE times they are all also in the 4.5-4.8 range.

So he’s definitely not too slow. Jarvis Landry ran a 4.77 and he isn’t 6’5” 250 and he seems to be getting by in the NFL, and he’s covered by CBs

Chaisson is a lot faster than Taylor.

He looked way faster in high school too.

At least off the snap, which is what matters.

Taylor’s really athletic, for his size, but he’s not dominant edge rusher athletic.

Also 250 at chaisson’s high is different than 250 at Taylor’s.

There are there are 4 DEs who are 6’4” and non of them weight less than 270.
