It was a pleasure to watch him play. He came so far from his freshman and sophomore year when I swore he couldn't make a layup

I think this was a great pick by the Hawks. Mays doesn't have all-star talent, but I will be surprised if he doesn't have an NBA career that justifies a much higher pick.

couple interesting things, the Hawks G-league team is the SkyHawks
and they recently hired Nate McMillan as lead assistant. I think Skylar's game/ possible career look a lot like Nate's did back in the day.
