Man I couldn’t stand that guy. If Burrow weren’t tough as nails, Skalski may have taken him out and the game may have ended very differently. Dude flat out ripped cartilage, bad enough that Burrow winced in pain when he tapped him on the side.

Whats really interesting when watching the replay is the rumor of Venables stealing signs and knowing what we were running. Look at the stacked box and blitz schemes made pre snap in LSU’s 1st three series

Word was after the 3rd series, Slinger and BeBe changed the signals up leading to the 1st TD to JChase. Rest is history

Every time we went to tight formation. And they stacked the box and was ready. They did their homework. When we spread them out and kept hitting the slant with Jefferson, game over. Plus Joe was not loosing that game.

After that season, I haven't got that upset when we would loose. Don't get me wrong, wasn't thrilled. But after Joe and the greatest team and season LSU ever had, nothing else could compare.

J Daniels played great last year. But just seamed he didn't have the same leadership and fire as Joe. More he got hit, the more pissed off he got. No way we lose games last year with Joe playing. Well maybe one because defense was bad. But defense wasn't exactly the best either in 2019.
