Greedy and White shouldn’t play in a meaningless game with their potential draft spots. It’s obvious this will arouse some people but I dgaf. They have paid their dues. F the NCAA and its officials.

Said this last night. If no NY6 bowl game . I say refuse to go. You know that most of the players could care less which was shown last year at the abysmal showing against Notre Dame.

It’s gonna be a shitty bowl game with nothing at stake.

If I were them, I wouldn’t play. Risk/reward just isn’t worth it.

We can't turn down bowl money or pay for a real coach. We're in a budget crisis.

I really want to see an Outback vs Iowa or Northwestern, and it's a couple of million dollar payout

You dont sit out on your teammates and the school that gave you a free ride education. As I said before, they may not owe it to the fans, but they absolutely do to their team and the school that invested in them.

Amazing so many people can support quitting. Guess everyone wasn't raised by parents that did not let their kids just quit.

I wonder what kind of impact (if any) impact it would make on recruiting if O publicly gave the option to the leaving players stating they were more than welcome to finish their careers but he does not want to be the coach to risk their future earnings over a Bowl game. You could then use the bowl to prepare younger guys for playing time next year.

If NY6, I say play. Any other bowl, I say sit and let the younger guys get some reps.

Playing lights out in a bowl game can earn them draft slots and money.

But if they opt not to play, they shouldn't travel to the game or train at the facilities for the draft.

Then why did they play in any of the games after LSU was eliminated from being able to win the SEC? Weren't all of those games then "meaningless"? Not playing in a bowl game you and YOUR TEAM MATES earned is disrespectful to them, your school, your fans, and to yourself. The players who do this are being jerks and pussies.
