Homecoming '09.
I still think Jarret Lee is the one who got Derek Dooley the UTk job.
He made Dooley look like Nick Saban.

Somehow a spring scrimmage erases it all.
I'd be thrilled to see him become a competent backup the team will have faith in.

At least Lee never "clocked" the ball with one second left!
he never had the chance to clock it. time expired before the ball was snapped.
which makes me wonder why the clock wasn't reviewed (nebraska vs UT)

Oh come on. Look at the record when Lee started and look at the record when Jefferson started then get back to me. Wins are wins. Don't tell me the offense was more fun to watch with Jefferson under center. That Florida game was an atrocity. Look at what Lee did AT Florida in '08. I like Jefferson, but if we're splitting hairs, I'd rather watch an offense with Lee.
Lee had his 2nd pick six in the florida game and we got obliterated. How does that justify your point? Also Lee is 6 and 4 carear as a starter, Jefferson is 10 and 5, now I'm no math wiz, but your really dumb

Zach Lee or Jarrett Lee? Jarrett has played in two consecutive seasons and he still looks horrible. Having a great passing arm doesn't matter much if you aren't accurate or know what defense you're looking at. So that leaves.....

scratch that, hatch started the auburn game. JL is 5 and 4 as a starter. So, furthermore, youre even dumber

I really do not want to argue that's why i made that post. I argue enough with my friends! Maybe we can get someone like Steven Hawking to make a QB merger to make Jarret Jefferson into a QB!
frick that, then he'd then we'd lead the sec in sacks and int's

Until LSU has an offensive line that can ram the ball down the throats of opposing defenses (like the Tigers used to do), NOBODY can succeed at the QB position, especially since Mr. Perriloux couldn't hack his personal obligations to his state, to his school, to his coach, to his teammates and to himself. Wouldn't this be Ryan's senior season? I'm thinking last year would have been because when he swtiched from Texas to LSU out of high school at the All-Star game in San Antonio, COLT MCCOY switched from LSU to Texas later. What could have been with Mr. McCoy at the helm? Without a quality offensive line - he likely wouldn't have fared much better. Miles doesn't have time to be loyal to Jefferson or Jarrett Lee. He needs to yank No. 1 at the first sign of trouble, yank No. 2 at the second sign of trouble and then give the job to No. 3 Zach Lee before he loses a game (IMPOSSIBLE). Miles will be gone before the Tennessee game and it's all because of the offensive line. Somehow, everything gets blamed on everybody but the most important guys on the team, the O-Line. This is a finesse O-Line and lack the toughness it takes to run the ball in the SEC. These kind of players might work at Michigan or Ohio State, but NOT LSU. It's embarrassing. LSU's offensive line and running backs have always been a strength. The last few years, they've been a weakness. Can somebody please tell me why Keiland Williams was not used more???? He's got a stable of the best running backs in the country, but if the line can't block, we're going to get more RBs hurt. It's time for CHANGE and that won't happen until the wheels fall completely off. That will happen quick this year. The whole team can improve, but if the offensive line doesn't, it will cost Miles his job - because he used to be an offensive lineman at MICHIGAN. Running the football and playing balls to the wall defense are the fabric of the Tigers' being. This isn't Oklahoma State, THIS IS LSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jefferson has played well in big games. When he is healthy and has the option to scramble he's a very dangerous weapon.
I guess Florida wasn't a big game? The most frustrating game I have ever sat through, and I was here in the dark years. Their defense stacked the box and dared us to take advantage and dazed and confused (Jefferson and Crowton) couldn't.
I would rather choose (c) non of the above, but forced to choose, would trade driving rapidly in reverse followed by driving rapidly forward to another year of spinning our wheels stuck in neutral. Maybe Jefferson will do better if Billy has taught the WR's how to catch with their feet.
