The obvious reason Miles is being let go is that he no longer supplies entertainment, and if games don't entertain, fans will not attend them
Witness the emptying stadium in the fourth quarter in the Arkansas game
If games are not entertaining, the athletic department makes no money, and that is a very serious threat to the program

Let's face it: lsu games the last four years have been torture, even when we win
Its' time for more entertainment, even if we lose games

LSU fans rarely keep a stadium full until the end of any game. They can't handle traffic.

It's not the business you think it is.

Conference revenue sharing has destroyed that.

All a natty really gets you is a bunch of t-shirt sales, compared to the next guy

the Tigers' offense has ranked 94th or worse nationally in six of the past seven seasons. Maybe this is why fans leave early. Stay and bore yourself to sleep or leave early and save yourself another hour of the same old crap.

LSU is nearly bankrupt, but we have no issues with 20 million for a buy out of a coach that had the McNeese game happened could win 10 games this year.

I agree with you. I think I'm part of the old bunch that will still pay to watch people sock each other in the mouth (with proper technique of course) here and there.

The product on the field is awful, especially the offense under Miles save for a couple of years.

This year the D blows as well and the play has always been sloppy and penalty ridden under Les.

LSUs "brand" used to be super physical, smash mouth, pounding run game with a nasty D and a coach who was a ballsy risk taker.

Now it's soft, sloppy predictable and lacking ability to utilize playmakers.

That and to continue to recruit at a heightened level, compared to the next guy. Your brand is also strengthened every time you have a successful season.

Les is trending towards being bad for business at LSU.

All good businesses adapt and make changes before the need to do so is glaringly obvious. Time for Les to go.
