I don't know why anyone is surprised. He quit on LSU so why wouldn't he just keep doing it. What an embarrassment to LSU.

Not really.
He had a horrible series and got the shooting yips, but he was ROTY and made 1st team All NBA defense. He'll switch teams and be fine.
An embarrassment to LSU is Cecil Collins. Or Xavier Carter. Ben isn't a bad guy.

He was expected to be the 1st pick in the draft, so he skipped out on the NIT Tournament. No biggie.
What is truly disgusting is that the coach (who wasn't going anywhere) decided to quit the season and kill the post season for everyone else on the team. He should have been fired on the spot for that.

I mean didn’t Philly suck pretty bad before he got there? They were a few points away from being in the conference finals. That’s a radical improvement.

I don’t hate the guy...he came to LSU and balled pretty well. But he’s never shown any desire to improve his weaknesses. He’s gonna have to live with that..but I could care less.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I may be), but didn't he go to the Parade Grounds during a tailgate and whine about being noticed in his "documentary"? he just seems a bit immature which is to be expected. Never been a fan of the guy. He seems he just half-asses it all the time. Just my opinion

Got arrested a bunch, started hanging around players after he was pro in track and getting them in trouble. All-around piece of shite by most accounts.
I was just trying to think of a player that is slightly an embarrassment to LSU to show that even THEY are more of an embarrassment than an All NBA defensive player who isn't a bad person.
