Kramer happened to be a really good player at LSU, and Kim Mulkey's influence as the Baylor basketball coach certainly couldn't make that so. The guy gave everything he had to the baseball program, and I loved watching him play.
The LSU athletic programs are dotted throughout with former players, and the same is true at other schools. And why not? They're more familiar with LSU, the teams, and what it takes to succeed than others would be.
The minions who feel the need to bash Kramer at every turn are generally inconsequential people who find it easier to pounce on someone else, as opposed to actually accomplishing something meaningful with their own lives. It's the way of the world.
