SIAP but LSU raised season ticket prices about $50 per ticket in October

They released a new pdf of the 2020 tickets. Not sure if I saw it talked about since obviously we were on a historic run the past few months. Obviously the better LSU gets the more they can charge but with as much money as other avenues bring in to College football now via alcohol, tv, merchandise, etc... ticket sales become a smaller and smaller part of overall revenue. With attendance falling across the board yet ticket prices continue to rise eventually this is going to burst one would thing.

Expect that number to rise dramatically in 2021 and 2022. And expect fewer season tickets to be sold. LSU has sold fewer season tickets every year starting in 2016.

THey better hope the product remains up to snuff or they’re in trouble come renewal time for 2021.

Like it or not, as long as they continue to deliver a superior product to the field, there won’t be much of a backlash at all...

Yup. But sooner or later LSU will level out again (maybe this time for a long time or maybe for a handful of years again like from 2013-2017 and prices will likely increase even further between now and then creating an even steeper drop in attendance when people grow frustrated with the product and even worse price point.

Simple economics, supply and demand. Prices will rise until a certain point, then we'll see.

Well prices continue to rise but demand continues to fall.

The 50 is probably due to having an extra real opponent

Only reason to buy season tickets is to HOPEFULLY/MAYBE/UNLIKELY get the nod when we make the occasional Natty/SEC Championship. More and more people are going to ditch the TAF fees and just shell out the $300/ticket for Bama and buy tickets for every other home game for $30 off stubhub.

Skyline Club looks like a heck of a deal.

It was. To be completely fair, that was a big part of his job.
Now it is a big part of Woodward's job.

Raised some prices and lowered others. The home schedule has been bad. Last year there were only two home games with any kind of demand. It will only be two games this year as well. At least they did away with the neutral field made for TV game.
It would help attendance if Ole Miss. Arkansas TAM and Moo St would get a little more competitive
Bama Ohio State Clemson Georgia only have a couple of competitive home games per year. Some years only one. Bama has two competitive home games for 2020. Georgia and Auburn. Clemson probably does not have any. LSU has two.

They adjusted some ticket prices/TAF fees last year. We were able to move to better seats while paying the about same as the year before (less than $100 diference). Looks like I'll be paying $100 more this year. 450 more for the tickets, $50 more for the Tradition Fund. So any Increase looks to offset last year for me, which is fine. What I don't get is why are they leaving money on the table? If you have unsold stack at retail, you don't usually increase prices to move it.

This was made before Woodward got here. We are paying for Texas coming here.

Maybe but what are the odds it goes back down in 2021 when we play AT UCLA?
