I think it is laughable that Notre Dame is in the top 25,,,

Why is VTech a top 5 team? Someone explain to me how winning the ACC over BC and winning the Orange bowl over Cinci is an impressive accomplishment.

Most overrated team in college football. They will likely win games in the ACC this year because the ACC is well, the ACC, but I don't expect for them to compete for much else.

Of course Notre Dame is at 25. Never knew that winning the Hawaii Bowl was such a big deal.

The schedule sets up perfectly for Ole Miss. They do not play Florida and they get LSU/Bama at home. I think they'll start 7-0 this year.

Of course you do...when you go to Tulane the only thing you have to cheer for is against LSU. What a sorry existence.

What does my projection for Ole Miss starting 7-0 have to do with LSU?

13 is okay (not that it matters much at this point). It seems to me that last year we were ranked #1 or #2 in some polls, the feeling being that if Hatch could just be a "game manager" we'd kick the shite out of everyone. Wow.

how about OK state and oregon??
ND will finish in the top 10 with their weak arse schedule, would not win 2 games in the SEC....

No team lives off its (limited) history like VT. They lost their top LB and CB and return a QB who even after this spring has shown he can't pass. Its a team that really hasn't had an impressive win since......?

Why do people keep thinking USC will be top 10 this year when they have lost almost all the starters? They will take more lumps this year than any since Pete has been there.

Thats more like it!!!

ETA: 2009 Halftime LSU 46 - ULL 3... Miles calls the dogs off in the 3rd quarter. Paper in Laffy next day calls it a great moral victory for ULL. And we pay them $750,000 for this shiite? Go figure?
