While I don't look for him to beat out Max, I certainly want him capable of competing with him. He needs to be ready to play, which I think he will. He was trying too hard to make things happen in the spring game. I feel, this is an easier problem to work with than a QB that is tentative. As he develops and matures, the game will slow down and he won't be making those ill advised passes into coverage.

So plenty enough to beat the MSU, Ole Miss and Arkys of the world. Got it.

It's awesome to know that if something goes down we have two capable QB's. That's what a top tier program is supposed to have.

It may allow the coach’s to feel a little more comfortable in allowing Max to run the football with another capable qb on the roster.

There is a reason TJ left…

Yeah, because Myles and Max beat him out. He didn't leave because of an incoming freshman.

I don’t know for a fact but I think the Freshman was pushing him more than he was comfortable with.

Wow. You are dumber than I thought. Your posting is as if Tiger Ree and Pirate King had a baby, and spit you out.

I'd rather be compared to those two guys than be a dumb hater like you are any day of the week and twice on Sundays. So thanks for the compliment, retard.

Wanna bet it doesn't play out anything like that?

Where and when did I say it would play out like that, halfwit?

I would feel better if Max was over 60% completions %

A 60 percent completion rate was Myles' career average. I'm betting that Max has improved very dramatically from his first two games as a still very wet behind the ears first time starting true freshman QB. Indeed, I'm guessing that after a full off season season of excellent coaching, summer workouts, and fall camp, that Max will be somewhere around 65 to 66 percent. Which is what he was around in high school.

I’m just hoping that the big improvement from Nuss will keep them from putting Max in a bubble all season and will use him more in designed draws etc. knowing there is a decent backup ready to go in. If you play scared you get a 2018 Burrow season which isn’t bad at all but don’t limit Max like crazy because you’re scared of injury. We will need his legs to make plays.
