Ah, I’m still nervous about GA, MSU, and aTm.

No, for some odd reason, not the Gumps.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. You’re very clearly correct. All those teams smoke LSU. Still extremely impressed with the grit of the Tigers. They are a legit top 10 team.

I don’t think Georgia is “better” than us.

They may beat us, but they aren’t a clearly more talented team.

Alabama and Clemson are the only two teams I’d say are clearly better.

If you’re going by resume, we should be #3 with a bullet

Look, I’m not sure I believe in LSU’s offense, either. But I do believe that LSU now has the best win of any team so far this season (at Auburn) and another decent non-conference win (Miami). So the Tigers get ranked high until someone beats them. That said, it has been fun to watch Ed Orgeron punch a hole in the offseason narrative that he was on the hot seat. He never was. It’s just that when people write hot seat columns, they feel the need to include a coach from every conference. And if this keeps up, Orgeron’s critics might have to admit the guy knows what he’s doing

Love the explanation and it’s true. Geaux Tigers!

Which is why LSU is getting to love it is getting. If Auburn doesn’t lay a turd in the 4th quarter they beat LSU. Auburn beat themselves as much as LSU beat them.

Not this crap again. Perhaps LSU had something to do with it.

Gee, if only LSU's secondary wasn't blanketing the Auburn receivers. If only LSU wasn't stopping the run.

It could go both ways, ya know.

If LSU doesn't lay a turd in the second quarter, then it's never a contest.

The fact is, when it counted LSU made the plays on offense, defense and special teams.

I am inclined to say your right. However this game was neck and neck. We outgained AU this game and had more first downs. It’s not like we were out played all day and got lucky at the end. I would say the game itself was a push as to who was better and just so happen to be in a chance to win it late. Can’t ask for more than that on the road

Not so fast my friend.

LSU has played 2 top 10 teams in the 1st 3 weeks of the season and beat them both. Nobody else is even close. If actual results and who you play matter to you then LSU deserves any accolades they receive at this point.

Many teams look very good playing ULL, Texas State, Chatanooga, Ga State, Southern, Western Michigan, etc. Look how great Auburn looked last week vs. Nobody U. Then this week at home vs. LSU what happened?

If anything LSU achieving a 3-0 record in the manner it has happened is one Hell of a story and truthfully the LSU coaching staff has coached their collective asses off. Period.
