Truth

You realize O spent all offseason talking this unit up and stating they all looked like upper classmen and would be the strength of our offense?

People seem to forget that now

You realize that the offense that he envisioned bore very little resemblance to the offense that he ended up with.

People seem to forget that. They didn't really forget it anything to beat the coaches over the head with though.

Which offense did he envision? I’ve lost count of how many offenses he’s said he wants to run

He’s going to OU. It’s done and he’s already enrolled

Some sauces on OU message board claim he’s announcing Friday.

Sounds like that's a you problem. Maybe if you'd pay attention and drop some of that petty hatred you would have an idea of what's going on.

Sure Ben whatever you say. What you call a petty hatred, I call it not being a totally blind homer such as yourself that views this staff as infallible figures above critique. To each their own...

Apparently you can't read. I criticized the WRs coach in a post in this thread but don't let that get in the way of your little narrative.

I’d apologize for my misstatement and that you’re only 95% blind homer but since I can’t read I didn’t see what you said

I think You need to support this argument a little more, because it seems like O has no idea what he actually wants.

He’s said contradictory things early on as far as pro vs spread. He hired Canada the. Basically said he didn’t want all that misdirection when he fired Canada. What did he think he was getting?

We recruit dual thread and pro style QBs.

And yeah they both can play in a spread but really what do we want at QB?

I think o wants the 2016 offense with better passing but how we get there i don’t think he has the answer to that.

I'm sure that the coaches and players know exactly what they want to do, why they aren't able to do it right now and when they'll feel like they can get it done.

I was talking about injuries along the offensive line limiting what they could do. Shortage of personnel. I've heard O mention several times that lack of certain personnel limited what they could do.

The offensive line shuffle was readily apparent to anyone that cared to pay attention.

Coach O mentioned a shortage of capable tight ends being a limiting factor as well.

If you don't think that the coaches know what they want you're fooling yourself.

I think many posts overlooked the main assertion in the SI article, and it’s that this LSU offense only lacks only thing, a vertical passing threat from a QB.

Yeah we la k a middle and short passing threat too

Alabama with Hurtz lacked a deep passing thread.

We lack a cohesive passing game.

You say that but most offenses don’t lost their identity with their Left guard or due to a lack of TEs. Like how many TEs did we need?

It looked st times that thenoffense had clear identity issues.

The arguement that “they wouldn’t be here if they didn’t know what they were doing” ignores that there are actually bad coaches out there.

As a Buckeye fan, you must know that every Spring Game, Meyer had an arm strength contest for the QB's. Burrow out-threw Haskins both years that they went head-to-head. Burrow throws with touch. Haskins throws all fast balls (which seems to thrill announcers and sports writers) You could make a wing at the NFL Hall of Fame with QB's who were accused of having a "weak arm". Start with Brady and Brees - add Montana - go all the way back to Unitas. I'm not knocking Haskins. He's an elite QB. And so is Burrow - "and y'all don't even know it!"

I see your pathetic arse still hasn’t learned your lesson. So I’ll give you another opportunity:

All year you have told this board that 1. joe burrow is a better quarterback than Dwayne haskins and 2. Joe burrow is a top 5 quarterback in college football. You've said repeatedly that everyone would see both of these things to be true by the end of year.

It’s now the end of the year. State your case for each of those things being true.

Some writer expresses an opinion. Some of us completely disagree. Personally, I think the writer's point is simplistic an uninformed.

BTW, the writer is Scooby Axson - primarily a baseball writer with a relationship with the Blue Jays. Couldn't care less what he thinks.

I'm reading Florida St, Ohio St, and Oklahoma. Certainly possible, but I'd be surprised if Ryan Day chose a dual-threat QB after fighting so hard to install primarily a passing offense.

Fields was the #1 Dual threat QB. I think Florida State makes most sense.

What about all the writers that expressed their opinion that Dwayne haskins should be a Heisman trophy finalist and not joe burrow? How many of their opinions do you care about?
