I live in Michigan and I’ve been telling everyone that LSU is a force to be reckoned with not just in the SEC but in March when it all counts. Everyone looks at me like I don’t know what I’m talking about, but we’re gonna get the respect we deserve. Michigan State being ranked so much higher than us is laughable, and with Michigan losing to a terrible Penn State team I wouldn’t be surprised if LSU wiped the floor with those guys too. This team is for real and the nation needs to recognize.

Looking at it - minus Tennessee - it is an honor to be mentioned with those basketball programs. Things are a changing.

I think a lot of people, myself included, were looking at 20 wins for the regular season as a successful season in year 2.

Yes but the difference is we were already a 20 win team with 8 games left this year. Whereas some people would have taken 20 wins total pre-tournament this year

I think that list really puts the SEC conference as a whole in perspective. The SEC imo isn’t getting the credit it deserves, just look at our ranking compared to the others listed. You can argue that the SEC is the toughest conference. Of course Tennessee being ranked #1 is great and all but the overall feeling is that the SEC doesn’t compare to the ACC or BIG10 but the reality is that it is definitely comparable and arguably better.
