as usual, the reaction is too harsh.
Remember, it's not out of the question that the outgoing coach checks out immediately.
Even an experienced caoch like Chavis apparently wasn't fully with us for bowl game when he was going to A& M .
Yes, I know there is litigation, but sometimes coaches are ready to move on.
Having said that, I respect that Canada wants to do the bowl out of loyalty. I respect him more than Chavis for that...

Of course he stays. How would you feel if someone did that to us? That would be a no class thing to do IMO.

Without question it would have been preferable for him to be able to participate in bowl practices and recruiting but....

His current team is in a bowl,which is good, and has a right to expect him to finish the year with them.

We would not want MC if he was ok with not fulfilling that commitment.
