With all the current and upcoming openings at major programs , should LSU fans be nervous about losing Edward Orgeron to a program with deep pockets and a commitment to winning championships?

Granted , LSU is his “dream job”, so perhaps there is nothing to this , but is anyone else a bit anxious LSU could be forced to find another “one of us”?

ETA- move to coaching change board if need be .

Good idea .

Funny?

What are you talking about?

This is no laughing matter. With this many job openings , the only laughter I am experiencing is of the nervous variety.

Thank you ...me too.

Not to be confused with #metoo...that’s a story for a different day.

Which opening concerns you most ?

Well, it would open the door for Saban's return or hiring John Gruden.

Legitimate concern , I would think ...did you see the chicken-on-a-stick story with Phyllis?

Sometimes it’s the small things that lure a big time hire.

The constant trying to act like your serious once you realized no one thinks it's funny, is even more pathetic.

He's joking but this is a good indicator of what type of coach the team has. If a coach is good there are usually at least some rumors about a team possibly poaching him.

Ok, but I don't think this applies to a 56 year old head coach with a record of 30–32. He is ours for the long haul. Get on board, don't get on board but there is no train leaving this station for three years.

Well, he didn’t get any offers before LSU found the diamond in the rough . But now that diamond is shining for all the football world to see and that will no doubt lead to some other programs looking to upgrade.

At the very least I could see the LSU AD gettin some offers after proving himself to be a visionary.
