Texas just made the move to sell beer & wine at their events.

A should LSU?

Will the bible thumpers in the SEC forbid it?

Geaux Tigers!

I'd rather drink it than just see it.

Would be fun to see a beer in Tiger stadium, but it would be better if they would sell one we could drink...but, seeing is believing...

Even if they sold beer it'll be ridiculous prices I'm sure.

Plus our fans already have a short fuse with Jennnings think how much shorter it gets if they keep drinking in the stadium

there's enough whining on this board. No need for that at the game.

Yes, the fact that we don't is silly.

Seriously, judging by the pervasive smell and empty containers under the bleachers, I think us Louisianians prefer our bourbon to beer on game days.

Did the NCAA change their policy about no alcohol at on-campus stadiums? I have been reading about more and more schools allowing alcohol in their stadium. I had just assumed it was in the private suites and not in the general public area.

I don't think it's been a ncaa issue, but a sec rule

The NCAA didn't allow beer sales at regionals and such on campus but regular season many places sell beer. Tulane sells beer at all home events and has done so for ages.
