Its only the middle of the third, but should he have stayed his senior year?

Agreed. His stock wasn't going to rise.

Don't think so but may be wrong. He would've graduated at same time as me and I don't remember him being there.

He could've gotten stronger. I think his family needed the money though.

No, every video they have shown of Alabama and Florida defensive lineman going against Lsu he is absolutely getting destroyed. Lsu going to be improved at tackle this year.

The Chris Jones from Miss. State clip was the worst.

He was here for 4 years and was a 3 year starter. I'm fine with someone like that going pro.

He possibly could have improved his draft spot a little bit, but it wouldn't be some drastic improvement. He was always going to be a mid round pick. I don't think the risk is worth it to come back and be taken a few spots earlier than where he would go this year.

If his family needed money ASAP then you can't blame him. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to stick around college.

It's called hard work and dedication. That's what moves guys up.
Sure he could have improved his stock if he stayed and worked hard and had a great season.

You've had guys get drafted in the 1st and 2nd Rd this draft who did very little in their season before last...to say he couldn't improve his stock is just dumb

We must have watched different Spring Games because if you are confident about the footwork, technique and speed of our tackle position on Harris' left side then you're delusional. Unfortunately while Tehuma is a fantastic interior lineman and an absolute road grader as a run blocker, he looked consistently overmatched on the edge. We weren't blitzing every play either.

We have a great need to find an athletic, consistent LT. If Maea does not improve significantly we will have an issue in the Fall.

What you saw in the spring game will not be the lineup come the fall.
Pocic is our best lineman and he has been out for the spring.

I'll put a case of Abita on Pocic staying at Center. He makes every single line check for protection calls on the line. With Tehuma, Clapp and Weathersby going into their 2nd season of meaningful play, there is no one that presents the ability to make those line calls presnap. Other than Pocic.

Ethan isn't going anywhere. I understand he has repped at LT during his career. But he will remain at Center.

Tehuma needs to spend some time this summer with the left tackle trainer, like the QBs do with George Whitfield. If there is such a camp.
