Did Aranda hire him as PGC at Baylor or did he give him the OC job?

ETA: Just remembered I can use Google, I forgot they hired Fedora as their OC

everybody can't shut up about Brady but I've always gathered Munoz is the key. Wish we still had him.

Would he have made Myles not hold onto the ball?

Yeah that was bizarre to me. Let Aranda take him away. I know Baylor is a decent job now, but you can't tell me we couldn't have outbid them

Burrow loved Muñoz. I’d have loved to see him work with Brennan

I think Linehan hire was partly for Nussmeier recruitment.

But people need to realize we had open receivers all fricking day. Play calls were there. We just need a QB with a spine to step up in the pocket and actually see them.

there was nothing wrong with the scheme

Linehan is not the QB coach and his Wrs were running wide open all damn game.

WRs looked lost on some plays—they were not as crisp as last year under Brady

What is Linehan supposed to bring to the offense?

they looked lost because they were wide open and MB was still holding the ball.

Ill give you they were not as crisp as last season, that could be for many reasons though, we will see how they improve over next couple games.

After rewatching every offensive snap, I came away feeling like it was a well called game from the coaches, but they failed to realize MB could not find the open man and failed to use the running game and play action enough. MB was his best off of PA and hitting the middle of the field. Problem is we were 58 passes to only 27 runs. We adjusted some as 1st half

10 passes to 4 run on 1st down, 2nd half 14 passes to 10 runs.

He was 4 of 6 off PA and looked his best here

he was 20 of 27 for 266 and 2tds 0int in the middle 3rd of the field

issue was he was only 6 of 15 with a pick under pressure.

MB has to get the ball out sooner

quote:

Myles Brennan averaged 2.87 seconds to throw, longest in the SEC this season.

He had 3.14 seconds in the pocket to throw, second-most in SEC

He threw the ball in less than 2.5 seconds on just 28% of attempts, lowest in SEC (completed 13 of 16).

quote:

Holding ball 3 seconds or less: 21 of 29 (72.4%), 250 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 88.9 adjusted completion % (!), 109.8 passer rating

Holding ball longer than 3 seconds: 7 of 18 (38.9%), 105 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 57.1 adj. %, 56.3 rating

Burrow invited him to the heisman ceremony. I thought for sure he would get the job.

That's kind of the problem imo it was like they thought they could call the same plays with Brennan that they did with Burrow

But yesterday you posted that you needed to see in film how open the receivers were, do you now suggest there were no open receivers?

Then the Bengals should hire him.

Burrow stated a few times he worked with Munoz way more than Brady or E. Brady and E would give Munoz the game plan and film and him and Burrow would go over it daily. They worked very closely together and presented it in a way for Burrow to understand the reads and what the defensea may do.
