If they charge $3.00 for a bottle of "Tiger Water," how much do you think they'd charge for half-flat, luke-warm beer? TS has enough drunks. Let them drink outside.

Sorry for being new and all. But, I've served and been served quite a few alcoholic drinks in TS. I prefer that they continue to sell the mixers.

It would still be cheaper to sneak in your own unless you want beer

Dude... they charge $3 for a bottle of water. You think they're gonna sell 'cheap' beer'?

Drunks? We have drunks in Tiger stadium? I think you're letting the actions of 1 or 2 fans who get a little tipsy tarnish the reputation of the other 90,000+ who always behave themselves and drink responsibly. Shame on you!

1 or 2 fans?

If you don't understand why it's a bad idea, you live in a fantasy world. Sneak it in if you need to, but I don't want to be subjected (or my kids for that matter) to the shenanigans that would ensue.

They should just charge a "corking" fee so they get to make some money, and I get the peace of mind that that 1/2 gallon of Crown sitting in a zip-lock bag next to my nuts doesn't pop.

The NCAA forbids the sale of alcohol on campus.

The reason you can get alcohol at bowl games, bball post-season is b/c the stadiums are licensed to sell, not a college campus & not restricted by the NCAA.
For instance, when LSU plays in the Dome, or in the SEC title game, you can get liquor, but not when they play at another college campus.

Yes.

Plus, when "We Learned Stuff Today" announces no new changes in coaching, we'll need strong drink more than ever.

It's still a double-standard how the TAF suites a few feet from the rest of the stadium are considered separate from the university and therefore get to have alcohol. We all know the real reason is because it's big money business up there and that group would be pissed if they coudn't have their liquor. Money talks, power of the almighty dollar.

Let's just be honest with ourselves and not try to say it's "to protect the kids" cause there's plenty of youngins in the suites when I went up there a couple times. That's basically saying the big tymers know how to handle their liquor but the common folk down below need to be restricted cause they would go way out of bounds.Big double-standard. It's All about the benjamins
