Who else thinks he'll play something other than QB? Watching him play, he looks like he'd be better used at another position. That being based on the hope that a JJ/JL rotation will work next year.

he'll be a QB. Rare talent and very underrated passer. Bottom line you put the ball in your best players hands and he will have his hands on it the most at QB. I think he plays a role similar to Tebow's freshman year and may start by years end. QB all the way.

It would be a mistake to play him at something other than QB.

I think he plays QB. Next year he will probably have a lot option run plays but get his feet wet with maybe 20%-25% of the snaps.

scout's say he is a more dangerous runner than pat white and a better passer at this point in high school than pryor was.

I think RS will stay at QB

I think he ends up at WR for two reasons.

A) He is not a better passer than JJ.
B) We can't keep him off the field. So we'll play him elsewhere.

But he's got to beat out JJ, not Pryor. JJ is a better passer than Pryor and Shepard.

he is the type of player that needs to have the ball go through his hands every play. he will be qb. And, why put him at receiver if/when we have (fingers crossed) debose to fill the homerun hitter role at wr.

Are you joking? He's a QB for sure. Will play the Hatch/RP role next year spelling Jordan Jefferson. Lee's days are pretty much done at LSU IMO.

I think its pretty obvious from watching JJ play and watching Shep's video. Its just an observation.

I hope he plays QB because we desperately need a really reliable one for a change. JJ is developing but if JL plays next year our coach is an idiot. JL should transfer to a smaller school and start over.

How will a true freshman be more reliable than a Soph with game experience?

How is JJ not reliable? I know he's thrown some picks but he has done everything pretty well. He generally doesn't force the play like JL did.

JJ puts zip on the ball. Shep doesn't. JJ has a cannon. Shep doesn't.

Look, I'm not the only one who has criticized SHep's arm strength. You don't have to be a scout to see it. Jesus, you are acting like I'm from Jupiter or something.
