My roommate is from Holly Springs, MS where Shepard is from and their families are close. Shep is openly gay with his family. I have met him a couple times in Oxford and the dude is flaming. Sidenote, I've met Anderson Cooper before as well and he is full blown homosexual.
ETA: and to the point of this thread, yes Ole Miss considers LSU is biggest rival followed closely by MSU. Regardless of opponent, "Go To Hell LSU" is almost assuredly yelled during the National Anthem at every Ole Miss sporting event.
