Practice matters
games should matter most

If Magee outperforms Ford in practice and scrimmages, then he should get more carries. if Ford outperforms Magee, then he should obviously get more.
games > practices/scrimmages
it should all be about the games, absent some horrible behavior/chemistry issues

Les mentioned at Media Day that they didn't like the way Ford finished runs when he got there, i.e. they though he ran soft (like they apparently thought Keiland did as well)
i really take issue with this line of reasoning, but that's for another day

OMG i spelled his name slightly wrong. "crucify him"

You avoiding the question is destroying your credibility on the subject. It's obvious you've never seen him play yet you want to be the expert.

i've seen clips of him in high school, like 99% of posters on here

Then let me suggest you listen to those of us who have seen much more than those garbage clips of him.

i trust objective video clips a lot more than subjective opinions of persons with biases

I've got some great threads to bump in a year or two on Magee. (mainly on the recruiting board)
The clips do no justice. NONE. Just watch an entire game of his. The whole thing. But you can't.... It doesn't exist. That's why he was a 3 star. He didn't get the exposure he deserved. He would have beasted at the AA games but wasn't invited. He is a humble, respectful, hard working kid that has 1rd draft talent. Blee Dat.

just saying that his fanboys will mold him into whatever type of back they think LSU needs to succeed
that's just the nature of bias

Probably carrying 5-10 extra lbs going into camp knowing long, hard practices will pare him down. Also might have been inhaling when pic was taken so abs were pushed out.
Then again, was he in summer school and working out with Moffitt? If not might not have watched his diet and done enough ab work this summer.

Terrance Magee
58 sec mark = my favorite run of his highschool career. Flat out determined to score. One of the best runs I've ever seen live.

you are a fan boy, no?
what is your connection to Magee?

Lets just run the damn wing t and we wont have to worry about it

Magee was one of the state players I targeted last year.
I've seen him live throughout the playoff and most of his senior year. I've met him after a game before. I have no real connection to Magee, but I've been saying for a year on these boards that this dude was going to wreck shop once he hit LSU. There are alot of people who have bias toward one player or the other. I want to see the best players play.
I guess I'm not a big fan of someone talking out of their arse. I do it sometimes too, but not on this subject.

I know you were asking him and not me, but I'd like to answer your question. I'm just a proud FHS alumn who has watched Terrance play since he was a kid. It's safe to say that myself, as well as everyone in this town will forever love and appreciate what Terrance did here and how he did it. No matter what happens at LSU and beyonod. He helped deliver us our first state title ever.
That said...I'm not a homer and do not want him getting carries over another guy for any other reason than he is flat out better. Whichever guy gives LSU the best chance to win on Saturday is the guy I want carrying the rock. I hope that can be Terrance one day and from the sounds of things it seems pretty likely. Pardon me for beeing a little excited that our hometown hero is doing well.

I like the fact that two of our rbs played qb in highschool, could make for some interesting plays
