Yep, sometimes its best to not live directly in your dad's shadows. Shareef had a tough go here and I'm sure that may have played a part in her decision. Just going to get a little more scrutinized as Shaw's daughter at LSU than someone else. Also, while she is a good prospect, she isnt a 5-star cant miss type really and with the talent Mulkey brings in from high school and the portal she might have seen other places for earlier playing time. I'm sure Shaq would want to watch her play than maybe have to wait around a few years and develop.

She probably wants more playing time. LSU's backup 5 could probably start at a lot of other power 5 teams.

Who is to say she would have gone to LSU ???
Arch Manning is at Texas and not Ole Miss.
Besides, Mulky knows what players she wants.
Also if Shaq wanted his daughter there, I think he could afford to have her walk on there.
