Clayton was a better all around player. Bowe was a better receiver. He has proved that in the league as well. Clayton was the guy who would play safety if you asked him to. Recover onside kicks, etc..

I think thier NFL careers have further validated that Bowe is better than Clayton.

and I think this is just pure outrage that must be stopped before we can move ahead as a society...I applaud you, SlowFlowPro!!!!!

he played DB like one half of one game (and got torched)

i'm sure bowe would have played DB had we needed him, but we didn't

I think its because you have to be very PC about Mormons. Really, they are a persecuted minority in this country and have suffered a lot at the hands of white men.

I actually think it's more of an underdog thing. Otherwise Booty would've recieved more love than Davey.

Hester = 2 star, KW = 5 star
Trindon = 2 star, KW = 5 star
Flynn = 4 star, JR = 5 star
Duplessis = 2 star, everyone else = way the frick better
Hatch = no star, Lee = 4 star

I can't wait to see the Rant in a couple of years if Shep is playing WR full-time and Garrett QB is the QB.

Hester or Hatch would have made a better safety than both. IMO IMHO LOL

other than 1 person, everyone on the left is white, and i have no clue why you put trindon in there

Out of your mind.

Route running: Bowe
Downfield blocking: Bowe
Getting of the line: Bowe
Yards after catch: Bowe
Hands: Clayton

Clayton played one half at safety in the Cotton Bowl. Let's not go crazy.

Why is it OK to criticize Keiland Williams?

because ppl built him up to be so much before he got here, and then bitched so much about him not playing, that it built up some ill will toward him.

it's kinda unfortunate, because he didn't rate himself a 5 star, ask for ppl to fawn over him during his recruitment, or get on here and complain about Hester and Scott playing over him. he's just played hard and contributed when called upon, and been a team player from what I can see.

Because most LSU fans don't have a clue what they're talking about.

Hatch is good guy, hard worker, etc., but he wasn't SEC material. We failed to move the ball at all when he was in the game.

I still can't figure out the KW thing. He gets pulled the second he gets in a groove.

True, and because Hatch is kinda like the retarded kid at the playground. He tries hard, but everyone knows he sucks and doesn't expect much. You don't criticize because, well, he tried his best. You have your quick laugh and move on.

Clayton was a more important recruit at the time...big time LA player that was a must get for LSU.

He then started as a freshman and was one of our best players from the start.

Bowe ended up being a better receiver, but he had the dropsies until he had his eyesight fixed.

Clayton is my favorite ever tiger for more reasons than just his play on the field. But I also recognize that Bowe is probably the most gifted receiver ever to play at LSU.

Both great former tigers...

Reason I put Holliday there is people think that he needs to get more carries and KW less. It's a stertch I know.

If it was just a race thing than Booty would be everyone's favorite over Davey (and Davey not nearly as highly regarded) and Lee over Jefferson. There's also a general positive sentiment for Randall even though he lost out on the QB race to Mauck like 2 years in a row.
