Did you ever think that if LSU didn’t look like hot garbage for large parts of the last 2 home games and had come out and dominated lesser opponents like they should have that maybe the sense of unease would be less?

I fully expect LSU to be 5-0 next Sunday. But I also fully expect the team to take half the ole Miss game off and really struggle to put hem away. Ole Miss defense will have their best game of the year this week.

Sure it’s great to be undefeated and ranked #5 but you are also blind if you don’t see the obvious problems his team has. Problems that they won’t keep getting away with as the season progresses.

Link? And I’m not being an a-hole, I literally have never run across someone IRL—or even on here that I can remember—who has said anything like this and was being serious. Literally 100% of the time I’ve seen real heard it used is sarcastically by O haters. Maybe that lady who calls into the coaches show feels that way, but I’m not sure anybody else who current doesn’t live on the bayou has ever uttered this sentiment.

Now, to be fair, I do think that being from Louisiana, understanding the culture, and having forged 50+ years of relationships in this state has and will benefit him in recruiting here. And while I didn’t want him at the time and hated the “search,” I do think those things I mentioned will allow him an infinitely better chance to be successful at LSU than he would have at any other top tier program. And it’s one of the reasons level headed people like me—who may not have been in favor of his hiring—aren’t ready to fire him, lynch Alleva, and burn down the Football Ops building after a 38-21 win over LA Tech that got us to 4-0 and ranked #5, as ugly as it may have been.

So, in a way, “one of us,” could actually be beneficial. But certainly not in the intellectually dishonest way it’s sarcastucally dismissed by those with an anti-O agenda. As far as the way he talks, with his grovelly voice, I don’t think he talks like anybody. And I’m from NLA, so he sure as shite don’t talk like me.

True, but the underlying fact is they want the HC gone and the OC gone. It is not about how they think the offense can improve, its about coaching change. It ruins this board for the positive fans who are enjoying the moment even tho it may not last long. But 2 years ago it would have been hard to believe we would be ranked 5th in the country with a still growing offense.

You got half of the fan base yelling "Shut up and be happy we're 4-0" and the other half that notice problems that will eventually catch up with us because we're doing enough just to get by against teams like LaTech and SELA.

This season just feels just like the 2015 season. We jumped out 7-0 with LF7 running through everybody and completely ignored our issues on offense. Then we got hit the mouth late in the season and lost 3 straight games.
