Can sense the uneasiness on TD, with LSU unbeaten and ranked no. 5, we should have a juiced up LSU fan base. Hope Tiger Stadium isn’t like this Saturday, shake it off! LSU ‘s got this!

Hey man. It’ll be great. We got two extra tailgating hours. Just what the Dr. ordered.

Its because group A thinks there are things that the team can improve upon...

And group B says that group A are not true fans...#5 in the nation etc.

That's pretty much the problem in a nutshell (if you want to call it a problem)

A little overly simplistic, don't you think?

There's a group that constantly harps on what is going wrong. Sometimes these are fair criticisms and sometimes they're based solely in their dislike for the coach.

There's a group with seemingly very thin skin who takes every post by the first group as a declaration of war and jumps in to fight for their coach's honor.

There's a group who was taking a wait and see approach, and now they've seen enough and O is definitely their guy.

There's a group who was taking a wait and see approach, and while they're pleased with the results so far, recognize that there are still things to be concerned about.

That’s 100% the problem on tigerdroppings. But OP is obviously jaded if he thinks the totality of LSU’s fandom is only comprised of TD posters. More than likely every other fan not on TD (the majority of them) just wants the team to improve, get healthy, etc. The normal problems that every football team faces during the course of a season.

Fair enough. But 90% of the arguments on this board are due to the other side not wanting to listen to the opposing viewpoint. And it usually ends up with dramatic statements like "not a real fan" or "you want LSU to lose just so you can be right"

Much of the feelings and opinions shared on TD are a good reflection of the LSU fan base in general. Wish it was different.

That is 100% not true. This board represents maybe 5-10% of the fanbase.

100,000 people in tiger stadium Saturday. You mean to tell me there will be more than 10,000 ranters in there?

Don't forget "worst coach in Ole Miss history" and "talks like us!"

Kind of telling you only listed dumb quotes from one of the groups, huh?

After La. Tech scored 21? Yes, a majority of ranters were at Tiger Stadium, a lot of mixed emotions after that game.

That's because so many of us have been here before with this team. Doesn't mean we still can't enjoy the ride and support the team and coaches when possible.

Except above is quite factual, while below is not, except in maybe 0.0001% of the fanbase.

SOME of our fans are uneasy, not all. I am not uneasy at all and i am ready for us to kick that rebel black bear landshark arse this Saturday night in DV.

Not to mention the assorted epithets and unflattering names called and vulgarities spewed from the fingertips of juvenile antagonists and frustrated armchair quarterbacks/coach know it alls, and ad infinitum drivel.

It may not be killing LSU but it is poison in the TD well.

I'm confident we'll beat Ole Miss, but I feel like we're not really a top five team. I hope I'm wrong.

from the 4th qtr at the bowl game, we seem to be vulnerable to the pass. If we do not give the QB time, we are OK, but otherwise, we are vulnerable. It also seems as if Aranda takes the foot off the pedal some and allows others to catch up (obviously the catch up part is not intentional).
but when we play softer, others catch up....we do not maintain.

Chicken needs to get rid of alters, get rid of non-affiliated posters, these folks are keeping things stirred up intentionally to hurt morale and recruiting, these folks are enemies of LSU

I honestly don’t think we’re a top 5 team RIGHT NOW but see the potential. I’m enjoying the season for what it is ... a diversion from the daily stress of work, etc. I don’t really care who is coaching LSU but believe O and his staff are showing improvement and deserve the chance to let it play out.

Not necessarily, but you don’t think a large majority of the fans in the stands don’t have a lot of the same feelings that posters here have?
