Saying it makes me feel better. Hoping it's a little better than the Georgia game for sure. 9K and the wave happens like the old days! Bring back the Crowd-O-Meter from 89'

For the Seniors sake, I hope that Trent has this team ready. Its a big game and he has shown not to have his teams ready in big games. Tennessee on the other hand has shown the opposite and you know they are looking to ruin our Senior night.

I can't believe it's the last home game already. Lets hope we get a W to send off these 3 seniors though.

I wonder if all of your other 203 posts are this insightful. We understand you obviously don't care about the basketball team. I, however, will be there to show our seniors some support. Storm and Bass looked greatly improved this year and contributed to the team being much better.

No way we have 9k at that game. I'd put the over/under at 6500.

Ok ill map it out with LSU then followed by Stanford maybe....

A&M in year 1 was our toughest opponent to start the year...Game wasnt even close. Go to Utah get blown out the gym. #15 Xavier we were ready but his x's and o's couldnt come close to matching opponents. A chance in SEC Tourney to get out of the dreaded 8 seed and we lose to Miss State whom we beaten twice because he didnt have the team ready.

Thats year one, need I go on?

I can add on he took over a program that was sky high. Montgomery had that team playing for a title every year. He had a dream/dumb luck happening when Lopez twins went there. He couldnt even get to Elite 8 having his team get demolished by Texas.

huh?

i was there...were you? im sure you were because we all know it wasn't televised. we didn't really deserve to win but that had to be the worst group of officials i have ever seen do a college basketball game...(think 4 tony greenes)

xavier was a better team breh. saying we lost because of x's and o's is kind of reaching and we aren't ever prepared but we were prepared?

we also beat a desperate kentucky team who was trying not to ashame their fanbase by missing the tourney for the first time in ~20 years but let's not mention that...grrrr we lost to a team we had already beat twice.

my support for trent has waned a lot over the last two seasons(read my posts from saturday) but some of yall reach so bad it's pretty entertaining.

LOL at blaming officiating. Typical LSU homers.

Of course not. They were ready, LSU wasnt. Trent has no gameplans. It is awful to watch.

we looked so unprepared in the tournament, the biggest game of the season, the biggest game of our 5 seniors' careers against butler. north carolina just dominated us from start to finish, didn't they?

We played UNC better than anyone in the tourney. We were losing by single digits in the 2nd half.

Ill give you the North Carolina. We were just plain better than Butler. His lack of substituting vs UNC had us tired late. Dude just never has a gameplan.

For a coach who has not proven that he is a good coach, why are you defending him? You stated you cant judge a coach by year 1. So lets throw that year out. What has he done? Coach 2 NBA players, one stud NBA player into the Sweet 16?

im not really defending him, i don't like trent's principles or philosophies, i don't like that guys like storm have barely progressed since year 1. i don't like the relative lack of experience his assistants have. i'm happy with some of the steps we've taken but how could we not improve? this is about where i predicted we'd be back in september. im not defending trent, i'm just dissecting some of you're statements. He has proven as much as Gottfried, whom you stated was a great coach in another thread. The only thing Gottfried has done better is to get fired.

How so? Gottfried resigned.

Take away his first season like you have stated shouldnt be a judging point. Didnt know Gottfried had 2 NBA players, one stud, land in his lap. That was his only good season, year 2 of the Lopez's.

Either way, it wasn't exactly his decision to leave.
