Im not saying miles definetely has to go but OC and Ol coach have wore out there welcome with bad play calling and sub par performances. if any one thinks that we will win consistenly in this league with Crowton and Stud, pass that shite that your smoking cause it must be good.
buy the way Auburns defense dared us to throw it at the beginning of the game and we stuck with jefferson instead of giving lee a chance early and that falls on miles. we had to score when we held cam to a three and out instead a pick by jefferson that took at least three points off the board.

bullshite.
I prefer ugly, hard fought victories to flashy offense.
This is the SEC, not the Pac 10.
If you like flashy offense, move to Oregon or Idaho.

You know what thats a sign of? poor poor coaching. Yes were 7-1 ,but have we gotten any better since North Carolina? Can any of you tell me where we have? That's horrible. And it does look like another yr of not getting any better than we were on day one! And i dont like being negative, but if im wrong, show me?

Actually we were definitely getting better on offense up to the Auburn game. Also, the defense has been better every week since UNC, except for the Auburn game.
So, what it sounds like is the previous 7 games don't count for anything................only how we performed against Auburn.

If Miles loses to Alabama in two weeks, for the third straight season we will be irrelevant in the hunt for an SEC West title.
Lessee, an LSU team with 2 losses --- assuming we do lose to UA --- will likely finish T2 in the West (with UA).
But, even if beat UA --- which I think there is a good chance of given the differences between UA and AU --- we finish 2 in the West. To win the West AU has to lose twice because they have the tiebreaker. That's really unlikely.
So, how is that with a good chance to finish either 2 or T2, with potentially our only loss being to the team currently ranked #1 in the BCS we're not in the picture? And, I might add, as a two loss team (T2), our only losses being to top 10 teams who were ranked #1 at some point during the season?
Or, by "in the hunt", which we clearly have been until this weekend, do you actually mean "win the West"?

LSU will not beat Arkansas in Little Rock unless Mallett is injured. Hell, Ole Miss is gonna give them all they can handle.
9-3, 5-3 and no better than 3rd in the SECW is where this team is headed.

I remember a time when we would have killed for 9-3. Were have been in the conversation this season (we have one loss for crying out loud --- 7-1 THIS SEASON), will continue to be in the conversation and may even go to the Sugar Bowl if we win out, which I do not see as being as far fetched as everyone thinks.

Notice I just said IN CONTENTION, shite thats all Im asking.
We were in contention Saturday afternoon. And we are still in contention today. To contend means to have a good shot at. We took our first shot and failed. Now we need help, but we are still in contention. If that is all you're asking for then you have it right now and may have missed our contending for the West on Saturday.
LSU will no longer be in contention for the West once all the games have been played. At that point, we will have either won or lost.

We have won the SEC west twice in five years with Miles. No, we weren't in contention for long in 2008, but were we out of it that quick in 2009? I remember playing Bama in November for the lead in SEC west race.
It sounds as though you have already written this season off. I'm never happy with losing, but I'm really happy at 7-1.
I'm all for Crowton being gone, our offense is not improving and we will be in the bottom on offensive stats once again.
But the idea that we should fire Les with his record is absurd. I think most of you all are brain dead to think that any goober off the street could come in and lead us to the SEC west every year.

To you people who will quote his overall record....DONT.
Miles is paid the kind of money to have us in contention for the SEC WEST most years. He doesn't, and thus should be removed for someone who can.
This i sfull of FAIL.....
1) if we lose to BAMA we will not be in contention for the SECW title.....not in contention =/= irrelevant (irrelevant is just a hot-button, polarizing word used on TD to get a rise out of the RANTARDS).....FAIL
2) Miles is paid his salary because his contract warranted it (with him winning the MNC).....He does currently have us in contention and therefore according to yuor logic, should not be fired. (just a suggestion but, you might want to wait untill we play BAMA to see how it goes or put in some qualifiers like "if" or "when" in this paragraph too).....FAIL
No way, short of collapse of the team that Miles gets fired this year. Crowton and possibly Studs on the other hand........:byebye:

AU could very easily lose to UGA and Bama.
AJ Green could run wild on that secondary and saban will likely have a much better gameplan for Cam
UGA is dangerous right now.
What if Cam suffers a high ankle sprain next week? Their offensive success is heavily depnedant on #2.
Bama will slow him down......
lots of ball to play folks.
