Kentucky losing means lsu vs ole miss Wednesday and Kentucky plays loser Of ark vs miss state On wednesday morning at 9:30. If Kentucky wins. They play winner Of lsu vs ole miss on thursday. Lsu is On p #2. Uk is on p #3 lsu wins. Then lsu bye until Saturday. Correct?

And if no clear winner emerges from all of this, a two-man sack race will be held on consecutive Sundays until a champion can be crowned

Another kind of help question, what time will the game start on Wednesday? The first game is at 9:30 figure maybe b/w 2.25-3 hours length, with about 30 min b/w games? So maybe a start time around 1ish?? Thoughts? Trying to get out of work early and head down to the Hoover.

Thanks for the help, that must be a record for the rant with the first 1-2 responses being normal and not some jackass response. Appreciate the help.

No. I'm not 100% sure about the scenario you're playing out but it isn't correct.

I would rather Kentucky win so they would be our second game, assuming we win Wednesday, because they do not have a starter as dominant as the other 3 teams.

Draw my scenario on your bracket, and you will see that Kentucky Loss in 1st game, makes LSU vs. Kentucky the third game for the Wildcats.

Nope, if Kentucky loses the first game and LSU keeps winning they wouldn't meet until Saturday after Kentucky won 3 losers' bracket games. 5th game for Kentucky, 3rd game for LSU.

I overlooked that, If Kentucky wins, Kentucky is going to Thursday's game, if Kentucky loses, then wins then their third game will be against Ole Miss if LSU beats Ole Miss, and Kentucky has to play Friday (should LSU win Wed, and Thurs games) then LSU will not see Kentucky until Saturday, LSU Game #3, Kentucky Game #5 (Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) I think Ole Miss will beat Kentucky, and I do not think Ole Miss has a good #2 pitcher. It's all about match ups.

In my above scenario I was assuming no one would be dumb enough to bring their aces back on short rest Tuesday, but apparently Bianco is throwing Wahl in the first game.

Wahl of Ole Miss, Stanek of Arkansas, and Stratton of State are all better than who ever Kentucky would throw at us. My thinking was that if Ole Miss beat Kentucky we would have to face Wahl on Wednesday and then Stratton or Stanek on Thursday if we managed to win the first game.

If Ole Miss uses Wahl we'll see their #2 if they win...and then Stratton/Stanek, so the matchups wouldn't be as tough.

FWIW, Ole Miss is pitching Wahl against Kentucky on Tuesday.

One thing I don't get as it doesn't say it in the bracket. Does the winner of games 10 and 12 (team that is either undefeated at the time 3-0 or 4-0) get eliminated with one loss in games 15 and 16 respectively. I know the championship game is winner win all, but the semifinal is winner win all as well? kinda weird

So if Kentucky wins, then Miss St/Arkansas would throw Stratton or Stanek against LSU (probably not Gausman?) I think best Kentucky loses, so we get Ole Miss's #2, then Gausman vs Stanek/Stratton
