I honestly went to sleep before State batted in the 9th. UGA scored two runs with the help of two seeing eye ground balls through the right side and a texas league bloop to right field off of Holder. They scored, but did so without hitting a single ball squarely.

I saw yesterday where Vandy has opted to start the lefty, but what was the reasoning behind it? They had said earlier in the week that Beede was starting today. LSU was already set in the bracket. What changed?

I'd start a lefty against LSU. Gives us the potential to overcoach aka take two of our best bats out the lineup (Moore and Fraley).
