Obviously beating the #7 rpi team helps more than beating tennessee. Just not sure how MOV was factored in. Unless there is something about the RPI yall know that I dont. I wish it were factored in, we are near tops in the country in MOV.

Vandy is possibly going to be unranked in the BA and CB polls.

RPI has no impact, but the committee could take it into consideration.

there is a logjam between 16 and 11. if lsu beats ole miss or if ole miss loses to arkansas and a couple of other things go our way we could have the type of jump ole miss just had.

The way the RPI seems to work, we beat Vandy yesterday, jump 1 spot...........beat Arky today, we probably jump 4 spots.

how much would a 0-2 USCe showing in the SECt hurt? I think they would still host. I think winning at series @ Vandy locked up their host bid.

They should be safe. Would probably cost them a top 8.

but .005 separates us and Ole miss we are 16 Ole Miss 11

Kendall's got us in now over Louisville.

LSU – STATUS: New addition – The situation regarding hosts is still fluid, but as of today, we're putting the Tigers in the hosting category. LSU run-ruled Vanderbilt on Wednesday and faces Arkansas on Thursday with righthanded pitcher Aaron Nola on the mound. The Tigers' non-conference resume is weak, but they're red-hot and have a 13-12 record vs. RPI Top 50 and 19-12 mark vs. RPI Top 100. LSU has an RPI of 16.

I would think Texas Tech losing last night will really hurt their hosting chances probably so much they won't host.

THe way I look at it is if we win today and Nola goes his usual 8 innings then we have the rest of our staff good to pitch the rest of the weekend. Where as most other teams will be very depleted come Sat and Sun. Now I know we arent the strongest behind Nola and Poche but we are decent and fresh and ready to go.

Dang I didnt think Mercer would go 2 and q in the ASUN tourney.

Hope the committee doesnt pull a Campbell on them.
