Looks like its pool play for the AAC
Houston is 6-2 against their pool for the season while Louisville is 7-2 against theirs.
Houston plays UCF, Temple and Uconn
Louisville plays Memphis, Rutgers, and USF

Do you find that the pool play format tends to benefit the "better" teams more so than a double elimination format like the SEC tourney?

It seems like the cream rises to the top more in the double elimination tourneys.
There have been times in the past in the big 12 and big east where 6/7 seeds have won their tourneys through pool plays.
But one can argue it was because those 2 conferences didnt really have dominant teams those years.
I dont see too much difference in them really.
I think big 12 and Conf USA have went to Double Elimination.

Another thing about this need for West Coast hosts. I count 3, maybe 4 teams in California that are even going to make the tournament. Most of the teams that are in those regionals are going to have to fly out there anyway.

I did enjoy the aubie announcers discussing how the team could make the SECt after they had lost 10-0 and were trailing 11-3.

moscona's interview with rantz doesnt show up on his audio vault. I'm pretty sure that's not by mistake.

Dro and I will once again update every game of the SEC tournament in the OP of this thread. LSU games will have their own game thread, and all other games will be updated here.
Looking forward to another run at a tourney title

So is there where we come to reveal our real life identities in the late hours after LSU has already played their game?

Has Ole Miss announced their game 1 starter? Just curious who Nola might be going up against if both win.
