I honestly have no idea on what takes place with RPI
I just know they beat the #6 RPI team and jumped 7 spots.. So was basing it off of that.

I was just figuring Florida would drop again losing to LSU. LSU would drop a bit losing twice to Arkansas, and Texas A&M would drop a little losing to Arkansas.
So there was room in the Top 10 range if somehow Arkansas pulled it off.

The numbers are just compounding. Opponent's Win% counts for 50%. Opponent's Opponents win % counts for 25%. All these games in the tourney just strengthen each SEC team's RPI by around 50% while the weaker opponents are only hurting the SEC's RPI by 25% and they are hurting themselves by 50%.
