This was put out on the rant before the tournaments began:
LSU has a better record vs top 25 teams and lower teams overall. I'll take results on the field over stats in the computer like RPI, SOS, etc.
And given that LSU has had to win twice as many games as Texas has just to get to the CG of their conference tourney, that number of quality wins has just gone up for us.

Today at 2:30 they will announce the 16 regional sites and the host on the Bottom Line of the ESPN family of networks.
Tomorrow, at 11:30 they will anounce the entire 64-team field live on ESPN.
