Florida has the pitching to win it all this year. Insane how deep their pitching is. I really think this is Florida's year.

it's just so dumb that UF (and aTm too) lost 1 game and they got a 2nd chance and in the process will play for the SEC Title
meanwhile we (and OM) lost 1 game and are going home 1 round shy of the title game

If someone would have told me at the beginning of the season with the youth of this team LSU would beat FL 3 times and play in the semis of the SEC Tournament, I would have thought they were smoking crack.

I understand the cons. What are the pros from this format? You would think the SEC would want more games, not less.

LSU's performance in the tournament was really impressive.
Who would have thought Gilbert and Smith could hold the number one team in the country to one run???

as a result... LSU missed out on making a regional
the SEC wanted to allow more teams into this tournament... thus this format was born

I'll give Florida their due - deep pitching and pretty decent outfield.
It could be their year. That said, we certainly have nothing to be ashamed of from this tournament as they put in one hell of an effort and lasted longer than I thought we would.

obviously... yes I'm very happy with where this team has come from the start of the season
they have grown up a lot
I'm still very frustrated that they get knocked out of the tournament this way...potentially with a national seed on the line

Calls are part of the game but in a 1-0 game everything counts. Fraley was clearly safe at 1st on double play Which wld have scored a run.
