Florida has the easiest remaining schedule in the east, although they're a few games back of vandy. USC has a tough road and Kentucky just lost the series to UGA. Tennessee has a gauntlet.

Lsu finishes 20-9 and makes a run in the SEC tournament, they could real easily be the number 1 overall seed in the NCAA..

Sounds legit vandy will likely lose traction to Florida looks like 3 uncommon opponents... vandy has to play Bama, ut and arky
While Florida gets mizzou, atm and uga

I really think LSU gets it going. We have the easiest remaining schedule and are the most talented team. We've kept pace with all the others despite not playing our best baseball. The pitching staff will likely get healthier and better as roles get defined. I could actually see A&M going on a run for the west but they're just not as good as we are. All of the east teams have more difficult schedules.

Vandy has to put up or shut up this year. This is Corbin's last real chance before NIL completely negates his scholarship advantage, so they're going to go all in. I'm a bit worried about them but still I pick the good guys

@Vandy
UF

I would think they lose 2 of 3 in both of these. Wouldn't be surprised if they get swept in one. That puts them at 11-6 or 10-7
So....

And if you think the SEC will have 6 of the 8 top 8 national seed spots, then you are you even dumber than you came off in your post.

So....

Very solid bump. SC did drop the series last weekend, but I didn't see this sweep coming. I made this post yesterday in a Tennessee thread...

quote:

I've said the same thing about Tennessee way before this series.

I said Tennessee was way better than their record (thought they would finish 3rd in the east).

I said Kentucky would drop like a rock soon.

I also said SC was not as good as their record. I still think this, but I was probably wrong about them falling like I thought they would

Hope you weren't premature on the bump though. We still have a ways to go.

This is wrong. There is a ton of people on this board who have solid opinions. Yours though, is absolutely not worth a shite. You are a complete dumb arse.

The SEC will not have 6 top 8 seeds man. There is still a lot of beating up on each other that will be done in the SEC.

You still don't think South Carolina is legit?

You know they're going to be ranked #2 or #3 right?

I don't understand thinking they're not legit

Let's get one thing straight - No one ever said they would have 6 of the top 8 seeds. You said that the SEC would get three and I said

quote:

Vandy, Florida, LSU, USCe, Arkansas and Tennesee all have a great shot at top 8 seeds right now

Tennesee and LSU started their seasons with absolute gauntlet schedules

Then you got all butt hurt and said I was dumb, now you look like a clown and since you lash out like a child folks enjoy calling you out.

Why do you have such a hard on for South Carolina? I just showed you a post that said they were better than I thought. Where they are ranked doesn't really mean a whole lot. I still think there are better teams than them in the SEC. I don't get why you are beating your chest about SC right now. Where were you when they lost a series last weekend?

SC is very good and beating them in a 3 game series will be very difficult.

You do realize only two teams in SEC history have gone through the season without losing an SEC series…..and neither won the title.

Once again, I never said they will have 6 of the 8. I said 6 teams still have a great chance at top 8 seeds. I stand by that.

Instead of creating an argument you win why don't you address what I said. Pathetic straw man.

Top 8 - Vandy, Florida, Arkansas/LSU (winner of the west)

9-16 - Arkansas/LSU, maybe SC, Tennessee, aTm

I don't understand this logic at all. You think the current #1 team in the land will not be a Top 8 seed?!?

This is the SEC. There are a bunch of teams that are in contention for national seeds at this point every single year. What exactly do you want me to say?

I predicted, given the schedule you provided, how I thought the SEC would play out. Isn't that what you wanted to happen when you made this thread?

At the time this post was made LSU had the 6th best record in the SEC. LSU was certainly not a lock of a national seed at that point. They still aren't, but moving closer to it each week.
