They hit the nail on the head. LSU's AD and fan base. LSU is committed to just being 'good enough'. 9 wins forever.
Teacher: "Maybe you can look forward to setting some goals of winning the SEC West and getting into the playoffs."
LSU: "Nah. We're good with just 'not sucking'."
Catastrophe syndrome indeed.

Yeah, I could see that too. I kind of read it both ways. The first way was funnier though and triggers more people.
