re: SEC refs targeting LSU?

I have a feeling that after last year when Aleva pretended to have balls, we became public enemy #1 for the commissioner. Honestly, we even got screwed by the refs versus Troy...yes I know-it's Troy, but we got fricked at the end of the first half. Throw in the Moo State BS call (which the gump alumni aka, league office unbelievably agreed with) and yesterday and it paints a pretty bad picture of either bias or selective ineptitude.

SEC refs targeting LSU?
You must be new here. Have you watched any LSU game before this one? We get screwed by SEC refs in rent-a-win games. And this has been going on long before Alleva battled with Sankey over the Florida fiasco in a matchup of overmatched, incompetent buffoons.

Etling was clearly targeted by Fla's players on several hits and thevSEC refs did nothing. LSU sneezes and they call it a personal foul

Yep. It's called SEC football. Then they wonder why LSU always complains about the officiating.

That was horrific officiating, clearly biased, there were too many bad calls or no calls to even list!!! The worst was the offsetting personal fouls when our player got punched in the head TWICE.... pitiful...

Refs are about 60 right and 40 wrong. They need to implement the red flag option for coaches in addition to reviewable plays. You can’t trust the review officials. I know we got away with a one yesterday and so did Florida. No excuse for replay officials to mess that up when it’s their only job!

Didn't see the punch. The Fl player stepped out multiple times and there id no excuse for missing that. The ejection of the LSU player was targeting and was the right call.

been saying this for years

Targeting rules need to be revoked. If it is a personal foul then call it a personal foul but the problem is that if the refs call targeting it is far too subjective and many times it is just a clean hit. Then they kick players out which is ridiculous.

Nothing will change. Just like the horrendous call at Miss State that called the touchdown back. SEC reviewed it and said it was a good call. Please. The officiating is terrible.

I can barely stomach the game anymore. I wonder if O will even bother bringing it up this week. The REC doen't give a frick.

I know Miles used to turn video in to the SEC after games of questionable plays. I hope LSU still does
It's still going to Birmingham, Al right?

It's always refreshing when we have refs from another conference like the Big 12 or ACC do our games. All of a sudden LSU doesn't have so many penalties called on them.

Correct, where a group of Bama alumni, headed by a Bama alum, can laugh at LSU and the other tier 2 schools while teams like Bama, Auburn, and UF enjoy statistical anomalies like not being called for holding for nearly two seasons.
Part of the reason I don't watch much, if any at all, SEC games any more. There is much better CFB going on in other conferences where things aren't quite so "obvious".

LSU fans need to get ready, with Aub coming to town, SEC refs have been notoriously bad for this one.

And ejection for a questionable targeting
Questionable targeting?? That was a cheap shot and the player should be benched for another game. That type of hit has ended many careers.

SEC refs are not incompetent. They are corrupt.

Fla players needed to be ejected, every college fan in the country would agree

The fricking refs were terrible yesterday. No way in hell that should have been called targeting, was a good clean hit. Refs sucked as usual.
