Updated on 2/28/12.
LSU moves from #9 seed to #7 seed after win over Arkansas. A&M drops into #11 (day one) spot. Vandy moves up into #10 (day two) spot.

Can we just freeze the bracket as it is today? I kind of like the way it looks right now.

Agreed. Tigers need to keep pace over Arkansas and Georgia.

Arkansas has two tough games left - vs. Mizzou, UK, A&M

All of Georgia's games are tough - vs. Bama, UK, Tennessee.

I've got to think a 9-9 finish keeps Tigers in 7 hole.

I'd really like to move to 6th. A win over Mizzou could do that too. Mizzou still plays Tenn and @Ark. It's tough to win at Arkansas and Tennessee is playing better than anyone in the SEC right now. If we win we would tie up Missouri and I think they could lose both Ark and Tenn games. That way we could lose both of our last games and still be the 6 seed.

Agreed. Even without Noel I still think UK is a tougher opponent than bama

We need to move up to 6th.

Kentucky and Bama will swap places before the season is over.

If Missouri were to lose tonight to USCe wouldn't that bump us to #6 since we would have beaten both them and Arkansas with 8-7 records? So far their only SEC road win is State, so it's possible.

Yes. If SC beats Mizzou we would be in 6th place. It really comes down to Saturday. I think they could easily lose their last two games against Tenn and @ Ark so if we win Saturday then we could lose out and still hold onto 6th place.

South, do UK & Bama play this saturday?

If so, doesn't a UK win and a South Carolina win make us a lock for the 6 seed?

SC plays Missouri tonight. If SC beats Missouri at home tonight, AND we beat Missouri on Saturday, coupled with a Kentucky win over Arkansas I don't see a scenario where we wouldn't get the 6th seed.

We don't need all those to happen. The biggest thing we would need is the win Saturday at Mizzou, which is also the toughest. If SC wins tonight over Mizzou then we can still get the 6th seed with a loss to Missouri if we win our last two and they lose their last two (Tenn and @Ark).
