Has anyone heard from the ticket office yet?

Not yet. The ticket office said on Monday that they are working through their ticket allotments and allocations now. They also said they hope to be able to notify LSU fans of the number of tickets they are set to receive no later than this Wednesday, November 23 or now tomorrow.

To anyone thinking about going, it’s risky but I’ve attended every SEc championship that LSU ever played in. Always bought a ticket on the street holding up 2 fingers. Never took more than 5 mins to get tickets.

UGA ticket holders got theirs today. FYI just for those unaware: each SEC school only gets 16K tidkets to this game each year iwht the rest going to corporate entities, MBS PSL holders, and that ridiculous lifetime guarantee thing that started in 1992 that's mostly held by bama/uf people. I say all that to say, that the overwhelming majority of tickets that regular ticket holders get are likely going to be in the upper deck.

That means you haven't gone since 2019, which was precovid. Everythign is digital now so it's not as simple to just hold up a hand anymore.

As a condition for this thing being played in UGA's backyard every year, SEC-W teams should be given 1st dibbs on ~50% of the tickets

YOu're getting 16K tickets just like every west team gets every year. The post above meant they're sorting out if each requester got 2 tickets, 4, etc.

Even beyond that, it's got to be the dynamic barcode in the Ticketmaster app. Don't be the sucker that falls for the text message / screenshot of the tickets.

Students will know by tomorrow. I’d assume very similar time frame for other tickets

Yes but you're skirting the issue of the grandfathered in ticket holders from the early days of the SEC which skew SECe by about 85% and a measily 16k left the SECw.
