After Texas got swept by Arkansas we went and beat them so I think the voters just see us as the most in form of the 3. It’s a tight margin between all the teams in the top 8 so the champ is just going to be whoever gets hottest over the next month

I'm cautiously optimistic that we make the finals. And that isn't talking smack, it's looking at the bracket...
Miss State vs A&M in rd 1, both teams really need it. A&M might not have their hearts in it anymore
, but if they do it should be a good game. Winner of that game, I think, has a solid chance of beating Auburn (getting on a mini-roll to improve their chances of making a regional).
But either way, winner of the rd 2 game has likely used their ace, and if it ain't Auburn then I'd say a lot of their big arms.
That team then faces LSU with Anderson, and Cowan to close. Tough matchup.
Assuming we win that, we get either Arkansas, or Florida on a tear (which I think might be the case); and we get them with Eyanson and probably Evans to close. If it's Arkansas I can see a tight game that we can win, if it's Florida I think they're out of arms at this point.
That would leave Shores to start in the Finals with everyone left to pitch an inning following, against whoever... honestly could be any of 4 teams.

ETA DVH has been at Arkansas forever it feels like. I wouldn’t have guessed they were just a middle of the road SEC team all this time. No titles in program history either, they definitely lack postseason accolades.

The first game of the day that impacts our RPI is North Alabama vs Jacksonville at 8am. We want North Alabama to win.

Cal and Miami at 8am. Cal has a shitty record and if they lose, their season is done. They may change coaches and they have some high end talent that would hit the portal. So it's interesting, just not for right now.
Any game UTSA plays. They're a lock for the tournament, but if they lose out of their conference tournament, it's going to steal a bid because no one else in their conference is an at large lock.
In the SEC, it would be nice to see Oklahoma beat Kentucky since we played Oklahoma and not Kentucky. It could also knock Kentucky out of the tournament, and that's a good thing because Nick Mingeone is still a bitch.
Nebraska vs Michigan St, we want Nebraska to win.
