So we dropped like 3 spots in the rpi from sunday morning to today? Awesome

Missouri and Alabama both hovering outside of the top 50. All of the SEC WEST teams took a hit while SEC EAST teams saw their RPI's soar.

Damn, usually winning 18 SEC Games gets you that top 8 Seed. Especially with how tough the SEC is this year.

18 wins does not guarantee a national seed. Even 17 wins and you're slightly sweating a regional host.

Guess that’s the difference between home and road series, considering our minimal bump after UGA.

I don’t see A&M finishing off the year 5-1 but who knows? Ole miss and Miss st will be fighting for their playoff lives these next few weeks. Winning Friday will be key this weekend.

It's unlikely that we get a top 8 national seed without making a run in the SECT. We really need to finish top 4 and get that first round bye so we need 4 more wins, and even that doesn't guarantee a top 4 finish. Tenn, Arky, and A&M are all on track for 18+ wins and hold tie-breakers over us. We're really competing with auburn for that 4th spot and they hold the tiebreaker as well. We're 1 game ahead of them right now so we just need to win as many as they do from here on out but they have the easier schedule with Bama and UK left. I'd feel good with 4 wins, but auburn could force us to need 5. 3 wins is likely not enough.

Thanks Adam. Feeling a lot less motivated for work after this weekend. As much as it pains me to say I feel like 15-15 is where we end up. Also, I think A&M can take two against Ole Miss.

I hate to add insult to injury, but if my projections are correct (with Ole Miss taking two from Aggies, LSU winning one, and Florida two), LSU finishes 15-15 and in a three-way tie with Ole Miss and Florida. Rebels and Gators didn't play. LSU loses three-way tie breaker.

That puts LSU in Hoover as #9 seed playing in first game against #8 seed Ole Miss. Winner gets Tennessee. Could there be a worse scenario. If LSU could reach #7 seed, we'd likely get #10 South Carolina in first game and would be in top of bracket with Hogs and Aggies (much better!).

Take two from Vandy (finish 16-14 in league), which probably gets you in as the #6 seed vs. Bama.
