Warren Nolan Projections

These are not my predictions and a bunch I don’t agree with. Again this is mainly for conversation.

Tennessee (24-6)
Arkansas (19-11)
Texas A&M (17-13)
Vanderbilt (17-13)
Georgia (17-13)
Auburn (16-14)
Florida (16-14)
Ole Miss (16-14)
LSU (14-16)
Kentucky (13-17)
Alabama (11-19)
South Carolina (12-18)
Mississippi St. (10-20)
Missouri (8-22)

April 18: What does this mean? I think LSU matches up very very well against both Missouri and Georgia who come to Alex Box Stadium the next two weeks. Missouri doesn't really do anything well as a group and Georgia's staff outside of their Friday night guy Jonathan Cannon is a mess where they are playing slugfests in Saturday and Sunday games giving up on average (8 runs and 16 runs respectively). That Georgia series will be completely dependent on how disciplined LSU is to getting to their bullpen game 1.

April 24: LSU took care of business week 6.

May1: LSU took care of business week 7.

May8: LSU took care of business week 8.

May15: LSU did not take care of business week 9.

Factor in the fielding, and that algorithm has us at 13-17.

So, we have the 2nd toughest schedule remaining. That's not always a bad thing.

Hasn’t pitched for them since April 1st, FWIW. Looks like he’s dealing with a strained forearm muscle.

Need to go 5-1 against Mizzou + UGA. Then win the remaining series (not sweeping) and you’re 18-12. That isn’t impossible and would make for a good record. This team can still get hot.

Ole Miss (14-16)

Ole Miss would need to win 9 of their last 15 games to get to 14-16. Not sure I see that based on what they've done thus far. And the back end of their schedule isn't exactly a cake walk either

The question is can they stop making errors on the infield? At this point I’m beginning to wonder.

Need to win Vandy, UM, AL series to get tiebreaker for 4-seed in the SEC tourney. More concerning is that our RPI is 10th in the league: Boyd’s World

Warren Nolan has us 9th, but that’s splitting hairs with this much baseball to play.

On the bright side, 4 teams remaining on our schedule are ranked higher, so we’ll move up.

Better players are on the way. The staff is doing a great job with what they were dealt
