Concerning the o-line: can anyone go into more detail? Was the pass blocking bad? Run blocking? The tackles? Guards?

This is good news...

Lamin Barrow of John Ehret was one of several linebackers who rotated in place of Baker, who suffered a broken jaw in practice Friday. Miles said his timetable for return could be three weeks

Scrimmage Info

Nothing really new there. Our secondary is shite-hot; everything else is bleh.

Well, it's just practice and we have three weeks to keep tightening up.

Does that mean he'll be redshirted this year?

Miles said the quarterbacks combined to complete 10 of 22 passes for 150 yards and one touchdown with one interception, which was returned for a touchdown by Patrick Peterson.

Another local athlete, freshman receiver James Wright of Belle Chasse, had a good day with two catches for 65 yards, including a 42-yard scoring play from Jarrett Lee.

Flucobaseball's linked article is probably as good as you'll get.

-Most of Ridley's yards were on one long run
-Mathieu will play the most of any freshmen, he almost had starter's reps today
-Ranters will love this, Loston played a ton and might as well have been starting if it was a real game
-Mingo dominated for 2nd team defense
-If forced to I'd give the edge to Lee but neither QB looked good
-LBs flying around making plays (this could be an elite unit if Baker comes back quickly and with no dropoff)

If shave one second off of every minute (MIles timetable) then I say he is back in two weeks so y'all have nothing to worry about.

Come on man. Switch to hopeful optimism and save the bitching for the first loss.

That is key for UNC game. If he plays against the tarheels, maybe see a little dropoff, but we can be confident in the depth we have there that it will not be a huge problem for that game. I would assume that, regardless of how he plays against unc, he would be 100% or close to it by the state game if this three week time table is correct.

Yea I never understood the hate for Murphy by so many. You can knock his durability and ability to stay healthy but when he is, there's never been any doubting his abilities.
