I thought about this recently as well. How huge that would have been. Oh well we move on.

Floyd is draft eligible right? I'd have to think he's gone. Going to need to refill the cupboard big time in transfer portal especially since Shores, Edwards, and Taylor probably are not pitching next year.

They going to have to basically redo it all for starters unless Hurd can emerge high like we think he can.

Taylor will probably be back mid-season along with Noot and Applebey.

In this Era of portal baseball you can reload every year. LSU will not be left out.

We have quite a few Juniors. Skenes, Crews, Morgan, Floyd, Jobert, Collins, Cooper, Ackenhausen, Hellmers, money, Milazzo, Travinski off the top of my head. But that a topic for another day.

Noot had arm issues in the Fall but they were planning on him pitching. I believe he even told Scuba he would be pitching soon. Then all of sudden he was shut down for the year. They never announced the injury or surgery that I am aware of but we can assume TJ. Applebey never did pitch in the Fall, so those two have a jump on a return over Taylor.

There was another hard throwing JUCO named Scavino I believe that was signed with us and had TJ before the Fall. Similar to Applebey but Applebey has been with the team this whole year, Scavino has not. Somebody did post something along the lines of him still talking with the team this past January.
