They obviously don’t watch the games or don’t know what they’re watching when they do. Miller started out as our 4, almost never touched the ball or was involved in any offensive action. He took 5 shots once over the first 20 games. Then we had a couple games where Collins got into early foul trouble and Miller had good games replacing him at the 5. Then we went to the 4 guard lineup using Miller exclusively as a 5, getting him involved in the ball screens and giving him post touches. Since that time his production has been much better. He’s had 7 of the last 10 games with more attempts than he had in any of the first 20 games.

It’s a fact, the difference between you and me is you’re just looking for excuses to simp for McMahon and I’m actually watching the games.

Of course there’s an inherent progression with experience but his change was basically overnight and correlated exactly with the way he was being used.
All the highschool tape I've seen of Miller shows a lengthy big who hangs around the perimeter shoots 3s, and operated primarily out of his face up game. Which is what I think he was trying to do at the beginning of the season. His floating around the perimeter seemed like a bad habit that I see all too often with bigger highschool skids who are used to out athleting everybody else on the court instead of leveraging their body and positioning. I think some credit is due to mcmahon for busting those old tendencies

This is blatantly false. It took approximately two weeks for Miller's role on this team to change, and the way he was playing to change with it. It wasn't for another two months and some change before he started to emerge.
Like people in this thread are trying to tell you, it just legitimately took the 18 year old raw big man much of the season to really settle down, have the game slow down, and kind of figure out his place.

That’s just factually false

HS has nothing to do with college in that context. You know how many HS players have different roles at the next level? Almost all of them.

I'm not simping for anyone, I'm just dumbstruck that someone could actually have the opinion that the only thing that changed with the kid is the way he was used. Like if he was used this way from the start, this is the impact he would have. That's fricking asinine and moronic on your part.

Except the facts back it up.

They will and they'll never stop crying over their beloved WW.

Yet you've continued to tell me and others on here that LSU's roster is so talented based on these recruiting rankings. How could anyone accurately evaluate these guys if they are going to be serving in completely different roles at the next level? You can't.

And as usual the only one who brings him up is you.

Sorry you don’t know anything but that’s your problem. People who know can tell.

Miller tried going inside a decent amount late in the non conference schedule. He was just bad at it. His shots were rushed and way too high arcing like he was afraid of getting blocked. Now he is taking his time and getting the shots he wants. Even though he missed his hook inside twice last night the shot looked good.

You mean the Miller that led us to a halftime lead coming off the bench against Florida. Only for McMahon to sit him starting the 2nd half and Florida took back control of the game. What a great coaching decision by our “leader”.

Perfect developmental move by McMahon

If you say so. How many threads have I started about WW and wanting him back or about WW in general?

I said you brought him up for no reason and nobody else did. The fact that you have to create a straw man to try and change what I said just proves your guilt.

This is an embarrassing post. Honestly. Like complimenting the captain of the Titanic on a smooth voyage before he struck the iceberg and sank.
