He is just not a great coach or game planner.
He is a recruiter.

The florida win just masks the issue. It was like throwing a bone to a fan base looking for some signs that Les can be an elite coach. I don't think he can!

Now, the Florida win doesn't look so good. UF is average at best. We still have a stagnant offense. The OL sucked goat nads last night.

yes, we should fire less. he just can't win ballgames. we should fire him right now too since we are already out of the sec race. i'm starting to think we don't even deserve les miles or any good coach. we eat our own.

That he does.

and in the process make fans happy[/quote
That wil never happen because of the ignorance of a lot of the fan base.

[quote]TAF can continue to pay him.

And if he is winning, what's the problem?

This not about running Les out of town especially during the middle of an undefeated season. Miles has his positives & negatives about him, all coaches do. What fans are upset about is the fact that he continues to run a QB on the field, that has no reason being under center. Stevie Wonder can see that Jefferson is not a good QB. He's not even an average QB. He is costing us possessions & points with his turnovers & stalled drives.

When Lee comes in the game, this offense seems energized & their play shows it. Jefferson is like a dark rain cloud. Where ever he goes doom & gloom follows him.

that is where you have it wrong. his #1 loyalty is to the school not to an individual. Les can tend to JJ on his days off. I have a feeling Les is playing JJ out of spite and being stubborn to admit that he screwed up.

If you think Les Miles isn't trying his arse off to have this team capable of winning, you are blinded by your ridiculous hatred.

And you think Les is not being loyal to the school? Look around you, he has LSU in the mix for the whole enchilada once again. What more can the school ask of its head football coach.

I think Miles is trying to keep both QBs from feeling like either is carrying all the weight, and so far it's working. We know Lee looks better, but I think Les is being very careful not to not put too much pressure on him too quickly. Miles knows Lee is critical to our success, so he is easing him along.

I trust the Mad Hatter to play his cards the best way possible. And remember, it is not just about the finish of this season. We need great QBing next year too, and we are better off with two capable QBs if we can develop them.

When you go 3 for 10 for 30 yds and two interceptions and then say you played good, you think he will man up and realize anything by himself. If he can make that kind of statement after a game, he is in total denial of his performance as a QB.One would have thought he would say he didn't play well and needed to correct his mistakes and improve his overall performance. He didn't, which tell one alot about his mental makeup.

Goofy SOB that knows some football with stubborn old time tendencies once he makes up his mind.
Remember he came from a MI era as an OL that was 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

The only time that the read option worked all year caused him to get the swollen head after that game.

But it hasn't has it? Since you are one of the newer posters, I'll go easy on you. Just point out a few of your most stupid comments.

quote:

Every LSU fan is happy to see this team 7-0
That's not true. A segment of this fanbase is seriously invested in LSU losing.

quote:

I can remember there has never been a 7-0 with this many issues especially on offense.
Oh right no QB controversies or any other problems. Short memory. Think Randall and Russell for a start.

quote:

The players will only play up to how they are coached to. With Miles starting out his career as an offensive line coach, there was no reason for the poor play along the line last night.

Studrawa is the offensive line coach. IN big time football the HC rarely is the position coach.
The rest is standard week to week fan bullshite.

Will be interesting to see how different the answers to this question will be now compared to after we play Auburn, Bama, and Arky

Yeah we may be 7-0, but is anyone actually enjoying watching these games? I have to say that the UNC, WV, Tenn and Fla games felt more like dumb luck rather than victory.

My hats off to the players, I just think Miles is doing a terrible job at putting this team into position to show the country what they're capable of doing.

We can't afford to waste anymore posessions like we've done the last couple of games by putting Jefferson under center. At this stage of the game, Lee is clearly a more capable quarterback to lead this team.

I guarantee you that Crowton, Gonzales and Ensminger see it, but are powerless to do anything. You full well know that any thoughts/opinions they may have about the QB situation are going to overridden by Slingblade Carl.........

He's incompetent, but it has little to do with Jarret Lee.
