What if Mett works primarily with Porter and Jennings works primarily with Pocic and each comes in with their respective QB for the various packages (assuming the offense will even operate in this manner)? Would THAT make a 2 center rotation a little more palatable?

All bets are off if there are injuries, but that would be true even without this system.

Les won't rotate centers dude. It's still an open competition between who starts that's why he always mentions both.

I honestly think Pocic will win out if porter still hasn't solidified his spot yet

I love me some frog festival.

2 centers is worse than 2 QBs, imo.

If they do this it is because:

* They know the guy who is #2 has the potential to be better than the #1 and at worst know that they must rely on #2 if #1 gets hurt.
* They know the guy who is #2 isn't ready to be the starter and therefore currently isn't as good as #1 and even could be a liability if he plays before he is ready.
* They suspect that they can bring #2 along fast enough to be be ready at some point in the season and perhaps even upgrade that spot.

With that being said, it would be stupid NOT to find opportunities to get #2 (Pocic) as much time as possible when the opportunity presents itself while relying on #1 (Porter) until Pocic outperforms him.

Does this guy freak out with every substitution at every position? What happens if the starter gets hurt and the back-up has 0 experience? What a chicken little.
