I was looking for this on here.

That guy lost me at #1! His first F'ing reason LSU will be back is because Bama will be "down"

Jezzz.....some LSU fans just can't get over Saban.
or maybe it's because bama has been our biggest competitor in the west

Now that his "process" is implemented, Bama will always be a force.
yea unless they have a hangover this year like we did in 04. they will always be competitive under Saban but how long before his system gets played out with them, nobody has seen his system on the same team for a long period of time so its possible its peaks, i may be wrong but i see a hangover this year from bama. still contend for the west but dont win the sec just IMO of course

The only thing the SEC can hope for is for Bama to get hit with a severe NCAA sanction or Saban gets itchy feet again.

man, this is sad. I'm not conceding anything. i do not believe the rest of the conference is playing for second place year in and year out.

is saban a great coach, yes. will he win it every year? nope. will there be a coach better than him, absolutely. has there been a coach as good or better than him, absolutely.

While I agree with this, you'd be hard pressed to find someone to claim that Saban and Meyer aren't the two best coaches in the SEC at this moment.

i agree. however, in the history of college ball, every program, conference, see's teams and coaches peak.

15 years ago, you would be hard pressed to find someone saying fulmer and Steve s are the two best coaches in the s.e.c. at that time.

switzer and tommy O, bowden, jimmy j., woody hayes, nute r., ect. those programs and coaches didn't last forever and neither will saban/bama.

Well Bama is in our division and we do play them.

He should have added Bama & Florida being down (relatively). Because that gives LSU a greater chance to win both those games. And also increases the likelihood that other teams will beat them.

Nobody gives a shite about Florida outside of the week we play them, though. Of note is the irony that the one season that these two do meet in the regular season, both have huge gaps to fill.

I agree with the T-Bob message. He was terrible last year. Always was in the backfield with the DT about to take the handoff. I think Longeran will be the starter, he looked great when T-Bob was hurt.

Longeran is the starter FWIW. At this time, T-Bob is still suspended from his DUI.

I'll reserve judgement.

I saw a 10 point list before last season on why LSU was going to return to power! Woo we won 1 more game.

2. The development and exciting play of 5 potential playmakers on defense: Peterson, Shephard, Loston, Nevis, and Montgomery

Ha, development, we'll see

he didn't play well enough

I hope he sticks with LSU and gets healthy/bigger tho... OL is about working as a unit anyway and T-Bob was only one part of the five that underperformed

What if he wins exactly 8? Would the universe explode? Would 2012 happen a year early?

Pretty sure this is evident even if you don't have those ties. It seems that all I do on this site is defend the guy, but if he posts a 7-5 record or worse next year, then I don't want him here.

I think Hebert needs to go, and is not a person committed to LSU.

Because he got a DUI he's not committed? Please. T-Bob just got caught. If drinking and driving is a sign of non-commitment, then I doubt very much we have any committed players at all.
